My day job is being a interaction design professional and I am tasked with making other peoples lives easier by shipping user-friendly products, while mentoring and leading. My passion for technology and the digital design space started while working for the Badger Herald newspaper in college at Madison,WI and it has only continued to grow and evolve through the years.
I currently live in Encino, CA with my hubby Luke @DaddyNannyDiairies , 9 yr old daughter Ivy, 6 yr old son Logan and cat Roger. Roger is famous on YouTube. Traveling, writing more, and creating a my own app are just a few things on my bucket list. I also actively volunteer my time at my children's school by updating the website and serving as VP of the Gala fundraiser.

Brainstorm and collaborate with product, business system analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to identify user interface needs and define use cases. Define interaction design through building an interactive Axure prototype for individual screen elements, navigation, and interactions. Provide an initial list of usability ideas, questions, and suggestions during requirement-gathering phase. Surface these to help shape business requirements and push for user experience requirements.
Develop UX/IA documentation (outlines, process flows, sketches, scenarios, site maps, wireframes, and interactive prototypes) for web/desktop/ mobile/kiosk/interactive applications to define functionality and user behavior. Responsible for “wire framing” design solutions and creating user experience patterns to be reused in applications. Lead and mentor junior UX designers.
Led a team of 3 UX Designers and collaborated cross functionally to design and deploy enhancements and new features for Honda Autos responsive website.
Worked with lead designers to create and implement ZEDs design system. Managed and coordinated technical writers and videographers for instructional videos around using ZED's products as well as led the UX efforts for our Salesforce Knowledge Base and ZED Connect's corporate website.
Lead UX/UI Designer for the Payroll Plus Suite of responsive web applications for Cast & Crew, a leader in entertainment production payroll industry. I introduced a design system and living style guide for the current suite that services new applications. Collaboration with 5 different engineering teams and attended stand-ups and sprint planning for all of the them. Supplied user flows, journey maps, rapid prototyping and sketches for the product team and contributed to writing user stories.
Collaborated with high profile clients to devise the optimal visual solutions to maximize business goals. I lead design direction, managed Jr UX/UI colleagues within the company and executed design of various web and mobile applications.
I did this successfully by creating user personas, journey maps, user flows, wireframes and rapid prototyping from lo-fidelity to high fidelity.
Lead UX/UI Designer working with technology development team on global iconic automotive brand, Harley-Davidson's new customer experience tool. Led design efforts on reporting and global email campaign. Also worked with various Fortune 100 clients such as Ford and Tiffany's to better understand their customer's experience with various mobile and responsive web tools.

Designed and maintained all creative design for web and print. Designed the UI for client-based software application for Target and Walgreens. ( Bought out by Oracle in 2005)
